Development Division

The Development (Pre-Comp) Division is designed for the motivated player committed to taking their game to the next level. As a direct transition from the recreational environment, this program utilizes structured training and increased intensity to hone technical mastery and introduce the foundational tactical understanding required for competitive play.

• Technical development: first touch, passing, receiving, finishing
• Small-sided games with guided coaching
• Introduction to team shape, spacing, and basic tactics
• Emphasis on confidence, creativity, and decision-making
• Coaches will evaluate player's readiness and extend invitations to join the Development/Pre-Comp Division.

Why Pre-Comp?

• Focused Development: We move beyond basic instruction to focus on high-repetition, skill-specific training to refine individual technique (first touch, ball control, and passing efficiency).
• Introduction to Tactics: Players begin to learn the foundational principles of team play, including spatial awareness, positioning, and basic attacking/defending concepts.
• Increased Commitment: This division requires a greater commitment from players and parents regarding attendance and focus, preparing them for the rigors of competitive soccer.
• Evaluation Pathway: Players in the Pre-Comp program are continuously monitored and evaluated by our coaching staff for potential placement in the higher commitment Competitive (Comp) Division in future seasons.
